“Friends”

Hi. How are you?

Hey. Fine.

Can I add you in my friends list?

Yes sure.

…………………………….

Hey, I want to meet you. When are you free?

“Why do you want to meet me?”

“We are good friends dear”

…………………

“We are working together. Why don’t we arrange a trip?”

“Why a trip?”

“Because we are friends”

…………………………………

“Good morning, friends. Please comment and like the page below”

“Ok. add me as a friend”

……………………………………….

Do we even know what we are doing to ourselves? Do we ever think what friendship is actually? Do we ever categorize or sorted our friends and not friends? Do we ever have honestly told our so-called friends that we are just not friends but we may be friends? Or have we ever dared making a new category that lies between ‘friend’, ‘girl or boy friend’ and a simple ’emotion’ that hangs in between?

Sadly no,

the ‘we are friends’ label is similar to the ‘calcium deficiency’ hype . Everyone thinks they are calcium deficient nowadays. Thanks to the successful advertising stunts.

And similarly, we call everyone our “friend” not knowing how dangerous it may prove to be some day.

Dost hein, dosti se magar bai khabar, dushman e jaan hein laikin khafaa tak nahin….

  2. Dost aur yaar mein bohat farq hota hai…

Yaar achay waqton kay, aur dost buray waqton kay hotay hein…

Yaar achay waqton mein bantay hein, achay waqton mein hi nazar aatay hein….

Dost (aap tor pe) buray waqt mein bantay hein, aur buray waqt mein hi kaam aatay hein….

~ Menuu dil da mehram naeen labh’da… Menuu yaar bathairay labh’day ne…

Friendship is the name of responsibility. That is why, we do not find many… 🙂
